A durable and functional blender.Good replacement for my blenderThe lid on original Jar had a hole with removable cover. To mix it without touching the blade. This one did not come with similar lid, even though it was most expensive jar among others.we were slightly disappointed.Thanksworks as expected.GoodLove my blendtec. I’ve had it for years and just decided to get a new jar as my old one was wearing out after daily use. The new jar is great, but the lid is flimsy and does not seal at all. It comes up while blending and my smoothies drip down the side. I paid a lot for the replacement jar and feel like the quality of the lid should reflect in the price as well.I am glad I read the reviews that mentioned keeping your old lid. Can’t understand why Quality Control would let this lid go out. Anyway, with my old top and new bottom, I still have the best blender on the market. One star taken away only because of the lid.I just purchased this replacement jar. The original jar was faulty and had problems that caused the blender to jump all over the counter. This replacement seems to have solved those problems and my blender is working fine again. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue to work with no further issues.Make sure you keep your original lid. The replacement lid does not work nearly as well due to its airtight seal that does not allow proper airflow.Totalmente decepcionada porque solo me llego el tarro sin la tapaLike the jar, thank goodness I kept my old lid as this one did not come with one.The product is really fantastic brand and nice for everyday use.knock off lid, NOT the one pictured in the photos. Does not seal onto the pitcher hence every blend makes a mess
