Very happy with these. Have a Labrador Retriever with lots of hair. Use Wahl animal power clippers once or twice a year for over all shortening during the fall and early spring (we hike a lot and her hair picks up everything). I don't like to mess with her 2-coat system much (undercoat and top hair) so during the spring and summer I do some touch ups on hair that isn't shedding as fast. These work well - everything comes out looking even (and I suck at this usually). I can get her back leg hair, neck hair and the excess hair behind her ears so well with these. (Watched a video on YouTube with a professional using something similar but costing over $100.) Thought I would try these - and I am pleasantly happy for the price, quality, and the finished look on my dog!I didn’t want to splurge and buy a $200 pair of scissors and the $8 ones from petco weren’t cutting it anymore so I was looking for something in between and I took a chance with these scissors and I’m glad I did, I’ve been using them for about a month now and they are still very sharp. Definitely worth the buy if you don’t want to spend big $$$These are fantastic! After dealing with cheap scissors from pet stores that were never correctly aligned I finally bought these. I love how easy it is to shape a dog with how it’s curved. Super easy to use and comfortable to hold, however, you do need to be careful with them because they’re extremely sharp!!These work good while good chunkers are getting sharpened. My old thinning shears was getting dull & was not doing a good job on my Pomeranian. I checked with Amazon to see what they offered & spotted this Jason’s grooming shears. The price was ideal, cheaper than finding a place to get my old ones sharpened. I just plain love these thinning shears, they are about an inch longer than my old pair, they are extremely sharp & the design of the finger holes are very comfortable for long grooming sessions. I use them weekly as my dog is a therapy dog & sees a lot of people a month. He has to look in top shape all the time & these Jason’s thinning shears makes my job of grooming not a big chore! Thank you Jason’s!!!Jason’s shears are seriously the best on Amazon. Out of all the scissors I’ve purchased from Amazon, these are always the sharpest, resharpen well, and have a nice finish (the whole head in the picture was done with the chunkers). 10/10 will buy (from them) again!!These are great. I own several Cocker Spaniels and groom them at home most of the time. These are great for blending. Super sharp...be careful. I cut my finger. They work. These scissors (clunker’s) are very good for the most part, they sound a little cheap. But cut very well for the price. I can still get a smooth cut. Wanted a back up in case something happened to my expensive ones. I might actually buy another pair of scissors from this company and see how they do.Brilliant chunker shears. I have never used these type of shears before, only thinners. I have 2 elderly Goldies and their fur is quite thick & long as they age. so I thought I would give these a go as they are now unable to go to groomers. They were absolutely great. Easy to use, light to hold and very sharp. They made a really good job. I am so pleased. I did however read comments about how very sharp they are. I thought, oh good, I’ll be fine!! I found out the hard way. Several minor cuts later and my goldies looked lovely. Also final few cuts, I succumbed to a nasty cut. Strange thing is, I didn’t feel the cut at all, just noticed a spurt of blood which spread very quickly. Instant pressure applied & elevation. I am a nurse and my husband is a Doctor. I was so annoyed with my clumsiness. So please be warned. They are great shears, but VERY VERY SHARP. See photos ??✂️?I'm only a partime groomer so suit the purpose I bought them for. Wouldn't recommend for heavy use. For what I paid I'm happy. Same comments for the curves.Good curve, very, very sharp, quiet. Twitchy dog almost tolerates them!Very sharp
